Should my podcast be video or audio only?

The short answer
What the archive says
01Audio and video are different mediums with different demands, so what is audibly interesting is not always visibly interesting, and few creators win both at once. source →
02If a podcast is a lead-generation vehicle, it only needs to be good enough to get buyers in the room; a show meant to entertain a million people is a completely different build. source →

What 2 people actually said
With the podcast, are you? Voice video was never a part of it. If it was up to me and we could keep everything the same and we could still make money and my talent could be taken care of, I would do audio only.
But once my favorite podcast added the video, now when I watched issues in the morning, for 15 minutes, I'll stock where I was at in the audio, put my phone up in front of my face while doing dishes and watch the video part.
