The short answer
What the archive says
01Build a personal brand because it's portable; if you sell your company in five years, the brand goes with you to the next venture. source →
02Make the client an educator and authority in their industry, and build the owner's personal brand alongside the company brand. source →
03Build an email or SMS list before you lean on ads, because consumers rarely buy the first time they see an ad from a brand they don't know. source →
04Earn the right to run side projects and personal brand content by hitting your job's results first; credibility comes from performance, not posting. source →
In their words
What 3 people actually said
Yeah. I guess, you know, we want to scale, but I think for the first time, what I'm starting to do is separate myself a little bit to build my own personal brand.
So I highly recommend that if you have some type of interest in it, that you pursue it. Because the power and the benefit that you're going to get from it, just even think about the fact that nobody can take your personal brand away from you. The personal brand that you build today, maybe you sell your company in five years.
Around it. I did a interview a couple weeks ago with a Shoot I forget the name of the company, but they're basically like They focus on people who grow cannabis But they don't sell cannabis, but they make like Amazing like journals and notebooks and and paintings and pictures and he's like we don't do discounts We have this clear statement about who's our brand.
