What the archive says
01Treat personal brand as a long-term play, not a direct-response one: Mark put a million real dollars into the Mark Evans DM brand this year without trying to monetize it directly. source →
02A 'skip transfer' (two mirrored contracts where you're the buyer on one and seller on the other, with all conveyance dates aligned) let Jamil close a deal with no cash and no credit — he found it by cold-calling real estate attorneys alphabetically until he reached the letter S. source →
03Real estate is not passive income; Mark cites a tenant who lived five months and plans to stay seven more rent-free before trashing the place. source →
What 3 people actually said
Talking with Mark Evans, DM, the deal maker, like, okay, everybody, you got great. I've had Grant on the show, Grant Cardone. I've had a lot of real estate guys pace more B, had a freaking tour of El Moussa from Flipper Flop.
Qualities within me and not have to do this the hard way and that is where I think things really started to change that's where I think second part in the third part of this story come from was me getting in and having a real honest look at who I was and how I was showing up in the world and making adjustments and changing my patterns and deciding that I wasn't going to be the same Jamil Dammji as I was today.
And he did something with his life while the TV camera followed him. I want to inspire as many people as humanly possible. I want to get as many people in real estate as humanly possible.
