Kalilah Wright is the founder and CEO of Mess in a Bottle, a Baltimore-based t-shirt company that packages message apparel in reusable bottles, which she started in 2016 after the Freddie Gray riots. Originally from Jamaica, she studied architecture at Penn State and Morgan State University and worked in fashion retail before turning her design background into an e-commerce brand and mentorship platform.
