Ryan Alford
He builds media companies, brands and ecosystems where attention actually converts — and he has done it from both sides of the table.

Three things, one idea
A show, a platform, and a building — each one a different answer to the same question: what happens when you stop renting an audience and start belonging to one.
Right About Now
Number one in Marketing on Apple’s charts three years running, top 25 in the United States across every category. 656 episodes of legendary business advice from people who actually made payroll — every week, still.
Listen →Collector Nation
A top 10 sports show on Apple Podcasts, and a media and commerce platform built to become the ESPN of the hobby — where collectors, creators, breakers and brands collide around content, culture and real opportunity.
Collector Station
The physical flagship, opened January 2026. Part retail store, part studio, part community hub. Packs get ripped, trades get done, content gets filmed live. Retail you can participate in; media you can walk into.

Twenty years selling other people’s brands taught him what a budget can buy. The last eight taught him what it cannot.

Twenty years on the other side
Before any of this, Ryan spent two decades in marketing and advertising working on the kind of budgets where being wrong is expensive and being right is invisible.
Verizon · Apple · Lexus · Samsung · Motorola · the NFL — among other global brands, across twenty years in marketing and advertising.
He founded Radical, the agency he still runs, and started this show because most business media is written by people who have never made payroll. 656 episodes and 361 operators later, that instinct looks about right.
The shift since: from building brands for companies to building platforms with communities. It is a harder business and a better one, and every episode here is part of the argument for it.
Four boys, one wife, no off switch
The store has his kids in it most weekends. That is not a marketing decision — it is just how the thing got built.
